Requirements qualification: Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Auxiliary Worker.Skills & Attributes:Computer literacy is required.Report writing, problem-solving, interpersonal relations, and conflict resolution skills.Integrity, honesty, adaptability, punctuality, and self-discipline.Ability to work under pressure and network effectively.Communication skills and willingness to travel.Key Duties
Facilitate Victim Offender Dialogue Programme.Keep records of attempts to locate victims.Facilitate contact between offender and victim and assess potential areas of conflict.Maintain database of available community support structures.Orientate NGOs, community leaders, and families regarding reintegration of offenders.Handle monthly returns and maintain communication with Head Community Corrections.Assist the Departmental social workers for further intervention as needed.Application Process application Forms:Applications must be submitted on the new Z83 form (Public Service application form) available here.
